An initial medical consultation with Dr. Donna involves the following:

  • Consultation with you and your veterinarian. Your veterinarian is your pet’s primary caregiver.  It is necessary that Dr. Donna consult with them in order to obtain accurate medical information and to assist your veterinarian, if needed, in creating a plan of treatment and follow-up for your pet. 
  • A detailed written report of Dr. Donna’s assessment—within 24 hours of consultation, Dr. Donna will email or fax your veterinarian her report.  The report will include a detailed assessment of your pet’s medical condition, available treatment options and recommendations for appropriate long term follow-up and monitoring.
  • Educational article—a general article written by Dr. Donna or another Veterinary Specialist about the medical condition affecting your pet will be provided for informational and educational purposes.
