What is a Medical Consultation and what does it involve….Learn more.

Please contact Dr. Donna via email or call her at 847-607-8416, if you have any questions about a Medical Consultation for your pet or need help scheduling.

To schedule a Medical Consultation, please fill out and submit the following two forms*:

Note: *SpectorDVM Consulting will not sell or disperse any of your personal information.

Send your pet’s Veterinary Medical Record:

  • Prior to the consultation, please send Dr. Donna a copy of your pet’s veterinary medical record via email (DrDonna@SpectorDVM.com) or fax (847-521-4960)
  • If you do not have a current copy, Dr. Donna will ask your veterinarian for the information.

When will I hear from Dr. Donna?

Once Dr. Donna has received your completed consultation forms, and spoken to your veterinarian, she will email you to confirm your phone consultation time. Dr. Donna is prepared to perform a consultation at your convenience during the next one week. She does perform emergency consultations if requested (see Fees & Billing Policy).

What is the fee for a Medical Consultation?

Please see the Fees & Billing policy for Medical Consultations. Once you have scheduled your initial (or recheck) consultation time with Dr. Donna, a PayPal invoice will be emailed to you. Payment is due prior to or at the time of phone consultation.

The information Dr. Donna Spector provides through Medical Consultations, Nutrition Consultations and Weight Loss Programs (hereafter called Consultations) is not intended to substitute for in-person evaluation or specific professional advice from your veterinarian. Dr. Donna’s Consultations must be performed in conjunction with your veterinarian’s participation. Your veterinarian is your pet’s primary caregiver. It is necessary that Dr. Donna consult with your veterinarian in order to obtain accurate medical information and to assist your veterinarian, if needed, in creating a plan of treatment and monitoring for your pet. Dr. Spector will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on any information or content provided.
